ThinkBike Workshop Santa Cruz

On September 13^th and 14^th, Mobycon’s Lennart Nout, Metropolitan Region and Bikeminded Maurits Lopes Cardozo joined forces for a ThinkBike workshop in Santa Cruz, California. Made possible by the recently opened Gazelle Experience Center and Eco-act.org, they worked together with the DCE to make this workshop happen, as Santa Cruz is a county where cycling is at a tipping point, moving from recreational and sports-related to daily commutes more and more. The workshop’s attendees from different cities in Santa Cruz County and the Dutch experts put their heads together to look at the current situation and come up with a plan for a cycling-friendly infrastructure to best accommodate the rising number of cyclists. We can look back on an energetic and fruitful workshop, made possible by its enthusiastic and open-minded attendees.
