Rob van der Bijl, founder of RVDB, loves cycling. He is an urban planner and independent consultant and ‘creator’ with an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based practice known for its innovative approach to research and design.

His projects are characterized by a multidisciplinary approach at the intersections of urban planning, transport, culture and technology. Working on cycling and urban planning represents his favorite practice. Rob shares this practice with partners, colleagues and friends from Amsterdam/Netherlands, as well as from many places all over the world in cities like Portland (Oregon), Tokyo and Warsaw.
