Haskoning has extensive experience in cycling projects, ranging from feasibility studies to (technical) design, bicycle parking, traffic safety and shared mobility. Our large and dedicated in-house cycling team with international experience covers the entire policy and decision-making process, from strategic policy development to detailed (Dutch) intersection design and the phases in between. We build bridges between engineers, planners, activists, and decision makers. 

Haskoning employs some of the leading cycling thinkers in the Netherlands. They often contribute to studies from CROW/Fietsberaad/Tour de Force and collaborate with universities to develop cycling policies and plans. Our portfolio includes the design of world’s largest bicycle parking in Utrecht, the first bicycle street in Vienna, wayfinding for 300 kilometers of cycle routes in Hamburg and the bicycle strategy of Beijing. In addition to cycling, we have extensive experience in sustainability, public transport, feasibility studies and design of bridges and tunnels, traffic management systems and integrated sustainable mobility plans.
