Participants Move Mobility MOVE Mobility is a specialist in ‘smart urban mobility’: we work on integrated traffic challenges, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Our goal: improving accessibility, safety and economic vitality. In countries, regions and cities we offer support in setting up a sustainable transport and mobility system. We do not do this alone, but with a network of partners. In our view of mobility, we focus on connecting. We connect people, networks and partners. Smart tools help us to do this. These tools are ideally suited to support decision-making, to structure workshops and to make the consequences of choices clear. The relationship between traffic and urban planning becomes clear, making it easier for policymakers and different professional groups to find and understand each other. In this way we contribute to the creation of Smart Moving Cities! Modeling and communication tools such as the MOVE Meter are needed to validate the scenarios and different measures and then arrive at possible solutions. The MOVE Meter is a user-friendly analysis tool that supports decision-making in urban development. Due to its GIS and web-based nature, this online tool improves the understanding of the link between traffic and transportation and land use planning. MOVE Mobility has established a Knowledge Exchange Program that aims to share the experiences of the Dutch integrated planning system, which is recognized as one of the most sustainable and efficient systems in the world. The high proportion of bicycle trips in all Dutch cities is one of its unique selling points.
