Knowledge World Bank Technical Deep Dive in Vienna 5 June 2025 Cycling News On June 3rd, 2025, the Dutch Cycling Embassy was in Vienna to participate in a technical deep dive organised by the World Bank on the topic of urban space, mobility, and decarbonisation for their client government representatives in Serbia, Albania, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Kazakstan. International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett joined Lena Diete from Superwien, Sam Johnson from the World Bank, Frederik Depoortere from Brussels Mobility, and Sílvia Casorrán Martos from the Barcelona Metropolitan Area for a series of presentations and panel discussion in a session entitled “Street design to improve urban livability and non-motorized transport”. We look forward to working with the World Bank and their client cities, as they start to implement more cycling-friendly infrastructure on their streets!
