Utrecht Visit from Copenhagen Metroselskabet

On the afternoon of September 17th, 2025, the Dutch Cycling Embassy hosted a small delegation of architects working for the Copenhagen Metroselskabet (Metro Company). This two-hour session was part of a larger study visit of the Netherlands, with the involvement of Gemeente Amsterdam, focused on bike-train intermodality. The group visited the DCE office, where International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett provided an overview of bike-train intermodality in the Netherlands, its quantitative and qualitative benefits, and specific examples of global cities attempting to transfer these policies and ideas to their context. It was a pleasure to host the group and to engage in their questions.
