Knowledge TH Wildau visits DCE 12 November 2025 Cycling News On the afternoon of Monday, 10 November 2025, the Dutch Cycling Embassy welcomed a group of students from TH Wildau, accompanied by cycling professor Christian Rudolph. This visit formed part of an annual study trip to the Netherlands, which continues to strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the institution and the DCE. At the DCE office, DCE Project Coordinator Emma Stubbe delivered a presentation on the development of cycling in the Netherlands, highlighting the policies and practices that have shaped its success. The students and professor followed up with thoughtful questions on the data and concepts presented. Throughout TH Wildau’s visit, various DCE network partners, including Amsterdam Bike Community, Ruxandra Aelenei of R.A. Planning, Nils Steinhäuser of Goudappel and Corstiaan van Elteren of Siemens independently contributed to the programme, offering guided tours, presentations, and valuable insights into Dutch cycling culture, planning and infrastructure. This exchange builds on a long-standing relationship with TH Wildau, which included a presentation by colleague Nils Steinhäuser at the institution in April 2024. It was a pleasure to host the students once again, and to engage with their thoughtful questions as they explored the Dutch approach to cycling.
