Knowledge Queensland Transport Minister in Utrecht 6 April 2023 Cycling News On Thursday, April 6th, 2023, the Dutch Cycling Embassy welcomed a small delegation from the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland, Australia, including the Honourable Minister Mark Bailey. Hosted by Managing Director Lucas Harms and Marketing Manager Chris Bruntlett at our office in Utrecht, they received a presentation on cycling in the Netherlands, and spent some time asking questions. From there, they hopped on bikes for a cycling tour of the city courtesy of BicycleDutch’s Mark Wagenbuur, including a visit to the world’s largest bike parking facility at Utrecht Centraal Station. We were honoured that Minister decided to carve out time during his travels to the United Kingdom and Italy to visit the Netherlands, and hope he brings some Dutch cycling inspiration back “Down Under”!
