Poland on Two Wheels Conference in Warsaw

On Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett participated in a full-day conference organized by Gazeta Wyborcza entitled Polska na dwóch kółkach (“Poland on Two Wheels”). The event was attended by elected officials, civil servants, and advocates from across the country. In between the various panel discussions, Chris provided a keynote presentation on the topic of “How Bicycles Are Changing Cities, Lifestyles, and Urban Spaces”, during which he provided an overview of best practice from the Netherlands, the myriad benefits of building inclusive cycling infrastructure, and case studies of cities from around the world who have successfully applied these principles.
