“Dutch Cycling Culture” Pop-Up Exhibition on Midosuji Boulevard in Osaka, Japan

To capture the enthusiasm and momentum created by the 2025 World Expo, the City of Osaka will host a series of cultural festivals on the length of Midosuji—its main arterial—under the theme: “Creating a People-Centered Road Space: A Road Experience Expo for the Future”. During the weekend of September 25th, the Dutch Cycling Embassy was proud to collaborate with local Japanese partners to curate the “Dutch Cycling Culture” pop-up exhibition. Drawing from our Dutch Cycling Vision, the visual displays invited people passing by on both foot and bicycle to discover the future of urban living—one focusing on physical and mental well-being.
