Knowledge DCE’s Walkshop at ‘Nationaal Fietscongres’ 7 June 2024 Cycling News On June 6th, the Dutch Cycling Embassy (DCE) participated in the National Fietscongres—Netherlands’ National Cycling Congress—and facilitated a session titled “Walkshop: How do international delegations view Dutch cycling culture?” The aim of the session was to increase Dutch knowledge of international knowledge sharing. The walkshop, a workshop on foot, focused on understanding how foreign delegations perceive Dutch cycling culture. Project Manager Shelley Bontje and Director Skadi Tirpak led the group through the city of The Hague, encouraging discussions on how participants, as mobility experts in the Netherlands, can maintain an inquisitive view of the field while working and living in the cycling paradise of the world. The session was attended by a mix of government organizations and private companies, leading to fruitful, diverse discussions. A warm thank you to the organizers of the National Fietscongres for including us in their wonderful program! We look forward to next year!
