DCE participates in EU-funded workshop with the Spanish Ministry of Public Works and Transport

On December 21, 2021, Dutch Cycling Embassy Managing Director Lucas Harms participated (virtually) in the EU-funded webinar entitled “A Safe, Sustainable And Connected Mobility Strategy In Spain” with the Spanish Ministry of Public Works and Transport. During this three-hour event, Dutch experts offered insights and best practices as input for a change in handling how public works and transportation issues are managed, responding to citizen’s mobility needs, persons, and goods, motivated to provide a safe, sustainable and connected mobility to all citizens. Other contributors included Erik van den Eijnden from the Netherlands Ministry for Infrastructure and Water Management, Sonja Rijsbosch from the Dutch Enterprise Agency, and Erik Tetteroo from HODworks.
