China Comprehensive Transportation Development Conference in Beijing

On Sunday, September 21st, 2025, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett keynoted the Urban and Rural Slow Mobility Forum held in Beijing during the annual China Comprehensive Transportation Development Conference. His intervention was entitled, “Cycling-Friendly Cities and Nations – The Netherlands”, during which he outlined the underlying design principles that inform Dutch cycling infrastructure, and the various demographics that benefit from such inclusive and intuitive design. We are keen to build on this bilateral cooperation, as China continues to put cycling infrastructure on the national agenda.
