Dr. Lucas Harms is an internationally recognised expert in sustainable and active mobility, with over 25 years of experience in research, policy and practice. He combines strategic insight with hands-on leadership, having served as Managing Director of the Dutch Cycling Embassy and as Deputy Head of Active Mobility at the Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Lucas is currently Professor of Sustainable Urban Mobility at the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and works through his consultancy Transforming Mobility. He has participated in international collaborations with partners such as the World Bank, World Resources Institute and the European Commission, helping cities and countries worldwide advance cycling and sustainable mobility solutions.
