Aik van Seters

Aik is a transport planner at Arup who likes to combine data analysis and transport modelling with active modality to contribute to a safer and more sutstainable urban environment. With a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a master’s in transport infrastructure and logistics, Aik uses discrete choice modelling and innovative research methods to affect the behaviour of cyclists and pedestrians in a positive manner. Since Aik is a noncompliant cyclist himself, he knows you need to get creative to influence cyclists’ behaviour. In the future, Aik hopes to use his expertise to create a city which is 100% car free, including lorries and ambulances.
