The Dutch Cycling Embassy partcipated (virtually) in the three-day "Our City, Our Space" International Forum in Havana, Cuba.

On November 17, 2021, the Dutch Cycling Embassy’s Chris Bruntlett partcipated (virtually) in the three-day "Our City, Our Space" International Forum in Havana, Cuba. Sponsored by the Chevening Alumni Programme Fund, and with the partnership of PlacemakingX and the UK Embassy in Havana, the event was intended to create resilient and inclusive paths towards the sustainable development of Cuban communities.

The keynote was entitled “Moving Forward Together: Advancing Safe, Inclusive, and Resilient Streets”, during which Chris offered insights into best practice in Netherlands, including network planning, traffic calming, intersection design, and safety education. The keynote was followed by a Q&A with the participants.
