Knowledge EU Support to Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning in Turkey 29 November 2022 Cycling News On Monday, November 29th, 2022, the Dutch Cycling Embassy hosted about 15 decision makers from across Turkey in Utrecht. The group from the Union Of Municipalities Of Turkey (UMT) were participating in a study tour of European cities arranged by POLIS and Panteia as part of the ‘EU support to Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning’ project. The group was first welcomed at Utrecht City Hall and received a presentation from Gemeente Utrecht‘s Herbert Tiemens. From there, they met the Dutch Cycling Embassy’s Chris Bruntlett for a walking tour of the city, including the bike parking facility at Utrecht Centraal Station. After lunch, they visited the Dutch Cycling Embassy and received presentations from Chris, as well as Loendersloot International‘s Ruben Loendersloot and Camila Herrera. We look forward to reconnecting with the group later this week at the 2022 Annual POLIS Conference in Brussels!
