Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum 2025

On Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett participated (virtually) in the one-day event “Next steps for urban transport and regional connectivity in England” hosted by the Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum. The session was entitled “Developing integrated urban transport systems and the future of transport within regions”, during which Chris offered insights into the Netherlands’ integration of cycling as a first- and last-mile solution for public transport, and its potential translation in other contexts. His talk was followed by a Q&A with panelists, which included Charlotte Robinson of Burges Salmon, Stacey White of West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and Steve Hunter of Steer.
