10 March 2022

Dutch Cycling Embassy provides presentation during the month-long Cycling Europe B2B and Networking event.

Taking place during the whole month of March 2022, Cycling Europe is an event organized with the help of Enterprise Europe Network, that aims to connect business minds from the following fields: E-Bikes and Mobility, Parking Systems for Bicycles, Urban Development, New Materials, Bike Productions and Supply Chain, and Cyclo Tourism. The event also comprises five expert talks taking place each Thursday starting from 10:00 CET. The March 10th session entitled “E-Bikes, Mobility & Startups” included Dutch Cycling Embassy Marketing & Communication Manager Chris Bruntlett. During this presentation “From Pop-Up to Permanent Multi-Modal Streets”, he explored how the COVID-19 pandemic changed the streets of Rotterdam, Milan, and Manila, and what lessons can be learned from the pandemic in reallocating space on urban streets. The event continues until the end of the month, and includes expert talks from Christiaan van Nispen of TILER and Josine Reijnhoudt from the City of Utrecht.
