Bicycle Diplomacy in Kraków, Poland

Following his participation in the New Mobility Congress in Łódź, Poland, on September 27th, 2024, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett participated in a full-day program organized by the Municipality of Kraków. It started with a meeting with Deputy Mayor Stanislaw Mazur, and a three-hour tour of the city’s cycling infrastructure with local officials, civil servants, and advocates. In the evening, the Museum of Kraków hosted a public event, which involved a direct conversation about the challenges and opportunities in the city, and a frank reflection on the bike ride earlier in the day.
