With my 30 years in the work field of urban mobility, of which a large part in Utrecht, I gained a lot of knowledge about bike-friendly solutions. After all, Utrecht is the most famous cycling city in the world. I’m an independent consultant, who offers strategic thinking and implementation of projects. I adjust my approach depending on the demands of the client. Besides cycling policies and bike-friendly design, I also know about the requirements of pedestrians, public transport, and car traffic, for infrastructure.

My mission is to reorganise the urban mobility networks so that walking and cycling become the backbone of the mobility system in the city. The benefits of more cycling and walking are considerable like improvement of urban accessibility, people’s healthiness, and a greener and healthier living environment.
