Cycling Experts Aoife O’Donnell Aoife’s passion for transport and spatial planning grew from her experience growing up in a car-dependent village in Ireland. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in City Planning and Environmental Policy from University College Dublin. During her undergrad she worked for a private planning consultancy for a range of development projects. By cycling everyday she witnessed first-hand how dangerous cycling can be when the appropriate infrastructure is not in place. After seeing a rise of bike related traffic accidents in Dublin, she decided to learn from the experts and pursue a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning from Radboud University, Nijmegen. She now works for Loendersloot International as a Mobility Advisor and is passionate about creating transport solutions that are safe, sustainable and accessible to all.
