With ‘Team Fiets’ of SportUtrecht, we work closely with Utrecht residents of all ages. With special attention to those unfamiliar with cycling due to cultural background, or financial or physical limitations. In the ‘Bicycle Capital of the World’of Utrecht, everyone should have the opportunity to experience all the benefits of the bicycle. Cycling makes and keeps you healthy, it increases your social and physical radius of action, it keeps the city and region accessible, and it’s fun to do! With a tailor-made offer per target group, our team works daily on our mission to get even more Utrechters to cycle in the city and region of Utrecht.

Team Fiets is part of SportUtrecht. SportUtrecht is the connecting party in the field of sports and exercise, from sports stimulation in the neighborhoods to top sports and talent development and everything in between. It is our mission to get and keep all Utrecht residents moving. Sports and exercise are the key to a healthy and happy life. We set Utrecht in motion with low-threshold offerings in the neighborhoods and through active support for the associations.

We bring supply and demand together, we make connections with the social domain, we share good examples and success stories with and between sports providers, we get inspiration from outside the city and apply this to the situation in Utrecht. Where we bring people and organizations together, new ideas and initiatives arise.
