Knowledge Quarterly Participant Meeting Q1 10 March 2025 General On Thursday, March 6th, we hosted our first quarterly network meeting of the year at Falco in Vriezenveen. Participants were welcomed by Mark Pruijssen, country manager at Falco, who introduced the company and its commitment to sustainable cycling infrastructure. This was followed by John Wermink, circular manager, who shared Falco’s ambitions regarding sustainability and circular economy principles. Following the welcome session, the group embarked on a guided factory tour. Divided into two groups and equipped with headsets, participants had the opportunity to witness Falco’s production process up close. The tour provided valuable insights into how high-quality cycling infrastructure is developed and implemented. The event continued with an update from the Dutch Cycling Embassy. The team presented an overview of the annual report and key focus regions, highlighting ongoing and upcoming projects in the DACH region, France, Nordics, Ireland, the United States and more. The preparations for Velo-city were also discussed, with deadlines coming up and more updates about the DCE’s participation and opportunities for network members. Additionally, several organizational updates were shared, including the DCE’s recent office relocation and updates from the board. The DCE team also introduced new participants in the network: Modacity Creative, Powershelter, and De Filmende Fietser. The network was encouraged to participate in upcoming DCE events, DCE Young and Communications Connect. The event wrapped up with a networking borrel, allowing participants to exchange insights and discuss potential collaborations.
