University of Oregon Study Visit in Utrecht

On Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 the Dutch Cycling Embassy hosted a group of 19 students and a professor from University of Oregon, who were participating in their Study Abroad Summer 2022: Bicycle Transportationcourse. Led by Professor Rebecca Lewis, the three-week course stops in Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands to experience these country’s diverse approaches to enable and encourage cycling for transportation. To start the program, the group received an hour-long presentation at DCE Headquarters by Marketing and Communication Manager Chris Bruntlett. Following that, the group got on their bicycles, and were lead on a two-hour tour of Utrecht and the surrounding area. From there, they hopped on a train to Amsterdam to continue their journey.
