Knowledge Turkish Ministry study visit to Amsterdam 28 August 2019 Cycling News On August 27, the DCE hosted a delegation from the Turkish Ministry of Environment & Urbanization. Member organizations Goudappel Coffeng, APPM, Move Mobility and Gemeente Amsterdam are present to share their knowledge and experiences in implementing and increasing cycling into countries, regions and cities. In the afternoon, Cornelia Dinca of organization BYCS took the delegation for a tour around the centre of Amsterdam to look at recent successful pilots regarding cycling infrastructure. The visit is part of their recent National Cycling Master Plan to reach a cycling inclusive society. Having already realized 1700 km’s of cycling lanes in Turkey, the master Plan aims to build another 3,000 km’s in the next 5 years.
