Tour de Femmes Press Visit in The Hague

15 May 2024

On Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, the Dutch Cycling Embassy joined a delegation of journalists visiting the Belgium, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in the Hague. The group was visiting the Netherlands as part of a two-day press tour organized by The Hague & Partners Marketing Bureau to celebrate the city hosting the first leg of the Tour de Femmes race in August 2024. Hosted by DCE International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett, they received a presentation on cycling in the Netherlands, and spent some time asking questions. In the afternoon, they hopped on an e-bike for a long tour around the city, including Kijkduin where the race will finish. On the second day, they will be hosted by the Municipality of Utrecht for a cycling tour of that city, including a visit to the world’s largest bike parking facility at Utrecht Centraal Station. We hope they return to the their respective countries informed and inspired to showcase Dutch cycling culture and infrastructure in their stories!
