Knowledge Shaping the Future of Urban Transport in Limassol, Cyprus 24 March 2025 Cycling News From March 18th to 24th, 2025, as a special guest of the Netherlands Embassy in Cyprus, the Dutch Cycling Embassy was in Limassol to participate in a series of events connected to the EU-funded MicroMobi project. This began with a special cycling tour of the city, organized by Friends of the Earth Cyprus and led by Netherlands Ambassador Wouter Plomp. International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett joined a film screening and panel discussion during a public event on March 19th. On the following day, he delivered a keynote during the “Shaping the Future of Urban Transport” Conference, which also featured the participation of Mayor Yiannis Armeftis. We hope to support his ambitious vision, starting with the bold plan of realizing 25 kilometres of low- and no-car “green avenues” through the heart of the city.
