Knowledge Peruvian delegation visits DCE 27 May 2019 Cycling News 20 representatives from the city of Lima, Perú visited the DCE office. The group consisted of mayors of different parts of Lima’s municipalities. Their visit was part of a quick stop in the Netherlands to experience and learn about the Dutch cycling culture, and how it could possibly improve the livability of their city. The delegation enjoyed an introduction of the DCE, and what cycling could do for Lima. Ruxandra Aelenei from Move Mobility gave a presentation about recent projects in cities that are struggling with car use and decided to focus on increasing livability, and its results within a short period of time. The delegation, impressed with the benefits of cycling, returned to Perú after cycling through Amsterdam on Saturday morning.
