Knowledge Measures to Contain Spread of COVID-19 17 March 2020 Cycling News Dutch Cycling Embassy enacts a series of measures over the coming weeks to contain the spread of COVID-19. As COVID-19 advances across the globe, and the Netherlands adopts a containment strategy that includes the closure of schools, government buildings, and restaurants, residents are being urged to avoid social contact where possible. The Dutch Cycling Embassy—along with our office mates at the Fietsersbond—will enact a series of measures in the coming weeks, in an effort to limit the spread of the virus, for the benefit of the most vulnerable among us. Our team in Utrecht will follow the advice of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment), and work from home until April 28, 2020. We remain available by phone and email. All meetings will go through online channels such as email, chat, and video calls. We have cancelled all planned activities until April 28, 2020 (with the exception of webinars). On behalf of the employees of the Dutch Cycling Embassy, stay safe, healthy, and active!
