Consisting of 25 mobility professionals, advocates, and enthusiasts from around the world, the program brings them to the cycling capital of Amsterdam for three weeks of intensive and immersive learning. Chris had the privilege of kicking off the course with a brief introduction to the DCE, followed by a deep dive into recent trends impacting the current infrastructure and policy developments of the Netherlands. They include the rise of the e-cyclist, the rise of the cargo cyclist, and the rise of the “train cyclist”. His 45-minute talk was followed by a lengthy and engaging discussion with the students. We wish them all the best with their remaining time in “fietsparadijs”!
