Knowledge First Young DCE Meeting 8 March 2024 Cycling News The first DCE Young meeting took place on March 6th, bringing together almost 30 young people from the Dutch Cycling Embassy (DCE) network in Utrecht. Young professionals met to discuss how to actively participate in the international mobility network, creating more diversity in the sector. Once everyone arrived at the location, DCE’s Project Manager, Margot Daris, welcomed everyone and the programme began with a quick game of cycling-themed bingo, giving everyone an opportunity to get to know each other. After the introduction, Margot presented how young network members can contribute to the DCE activities, such as study visits. Experiences were shared and tips given, encouraging young people to get involved. It was emphasised that it is always an enriching experience to be involved in a study visit as an expert, to showcase expertise, to get to know new perspectives and to make new contacts. The meeting ended with open networking, during which lively discussions continued. Thank you to all the young experts who participated and we look forward to seeing you at other activities and at the next Young DCE meeting!
