Knowledge DCE at NBSO networking event in Lyon 30 November 2022 Cycling News On 22nd November 2022, the DCE joined a networking event in Lyon, organised by the local Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO). To celebrate 20 years of its existence, the NBSO of Lyon organised a networking lunch with the theme of “urban mobility of tomorrow and innovations from the Netherlands,“ opened by Mrs. Madelijn Vervoord, Honorary Consul of The Netherlands in France. At this event, the DCE presented its Dutch Cycling Vision, the historical development of cycling culture in The Netherlands, as well as a look to the future, focusing particularly on innovative cycling-related solutions from The Netherlands. Three innovative DCE network participants joined the event: Abel Sensors, bike.box and Swapfiets presented their solutions to a curious audience, and built valuable regional links. The event was lively and well attended, and the DCE looks forward to building on its relationship with the NBSO and budding relationships with local stakeholders to help Lyon and its surroundings further develop its own cycling culture and solutions, using Dutch expertise and innovation.
