Knowledge Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) Webinar 24 October 2024 Cycling News On Thursday, October 24th, 2024, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager Chris Bruntlett participated in a one-hour webinar hosted by the UK-based Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT). The session was entitled “Active Travel Dutch Model”, during which Chris offered insights into how the Netherlands developed its cycling infrastructure and policy, as well as the importance of designing for a variety of users–including those without the physical or financial means to drive a car. His talk was followed by a presentation by Martyn Crawford at Hertfordshire County Council, and then they both participated in a short Q&A with the nearly 300 participants.
