Knowledge Austrian Journalists Visit the Netherlands 8 June 2022 Cycling News Dutch Cycling Embassy hosts group of television and newspaper reporters from Austria in Rotterdam. On Tuesday, June 8th, 2022, the Dutch Cycling Embassy hosted a delegation of television and newspaper journalists from Austria in Rotterdam. The group was visiting the Netherlands as part of a press tour organized by the Dutch Embassy in Vienna and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), which was in preparation for a royal visit to Graz this summer. Hosted by DCE Marketing and Communication Manager Chris Bruntlett and Humankind’s Lior Steinberg, they received presentations on cycling in the Netherlands, the current bicycle vision for the City of Rotterdam, and spent some time asking questions. Finally, they hopped on bicycles for a short tour around the city, visiting the Sint-Laurenskerk, Rotterdam Blaak Station, and the Coolsingel. Later this year, they will receive a visit from King Willem-Alexander, where Graz’s new Master Bicycle Plan, written by DCE participant Artgineering, will be part of the program.
