American and Canadian Journalists in the Netherlands

On Monday, March 27th, 2023, the Dutch Cycling Embassy hosted a delegation of journalists from the United States and Canada in the MOVE Amsterdam showroom. The group was visiting the Netherlands as part of a three-day press tour organized by Royal Dutch Gazelle. Hosted by DCE Marketing and Communication Manager Chris Bruntlett, they received a presentation on cycling in the Netherlands, watched the documentary “Why We Cycle”, and spent some time asking questions. In the afternoon, they hopped on a boat for a short tour around the canals, finishing off the day by visiting the new underwater bike parking facility in Amsterdam Centraal Station. Later this week, they will be hosted by the Municipality of Utrecht for a cycling tour of that city, including a visit to the world’s largest bike parking facility at Utrecht Centraal Station. We hope they return to the U.S. and Canada informed and inspired to showcase Dutch cycling culture and infrastructure in their stories!
