Active Travel Roadshow in Edinburgh, London and Manchester

From June 24th to 28th, 2024, Dutch Cycling Embassy International Relations Manager participated in a series of one-day workshops in Edinburgh, London, and Manchester. The events were organized under the banner “Active Travel Roadshow” by Hardscape, the UK distributor for Struyk Verwo infrastructure, whose product range includes the entry curbs ubiquitous across the Netherlands. Each day was divided into two halves: a morning session, where Chris and Living Streets‘ Robert Weetman introduced the “why” and “how”. And then an afternoon session; a series of roundtable discussions in a breakout format based on the earlier content presented. Each workshop was attended by a diverse group of professionals from local councils, private consultants, and advocacy groups. We look forward to continuing to support the export of Dutch products and services to the UK market.
