My area of expertise is development and realization of bicycle parking facilities near railway stations in the Netherlands. Together with 45 professionals, we run a program of expanding bicycle parking facilities at the most urgent locations. Started in 1999, the program will continu until 2030 and, if funded thereafter, for an even longer period. From the 700,000 places we need in the Netherlands in 2040, some 500,000 already have been realized. Within the current program scope we expect to realize over 100,000 places extra.
