Sanne van Zundert

As a transport planner, Sanne’s work focuses on sustainable and active mobility. Sanne completed a Bachelor’s in Traffic and Transport Management and a MSc in Urban Geography. With this educational mix, she has a technical and social view on the (active) transport world. In combination with her enthusiasm and commitment, she works together with a dedicated team to achieve the best results on active travel projects.

Sanne believes that you must find out why people choose a mode of transport or a route and show that effect on the mobility system, before behavioral change is possible. If necessary, she introduces new techniques and data to support her analysis. Sanne is enthusiastic about all kinds of cycling projects; from cycling safety to cycle parking to a network strategy. In recent years, she has mainly worked on projects advising governments on policy and design.
