Cycling Experts Paolo Ruffino Paolo Ruffino is an advisor expert in urban and transport planning and economics. His fascination for cycling and spatial planning has encouraged him to pursue his career in the Netherlands and today he is carrying out international projects for Decisio. Paolo has a broad background with a B.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations (University of Turin), two M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences (Utrecht University) and Urban and Regional Planning (University of Amsterdam) which makes him a holistic and strategic thinker. Moreover, Paolo has a strong expertise in planning processes, economic assessments and GIS data analysis and visualization. At Decisio, Paolo has worked successfully with a number of local and international clients, including the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Netherlands, the Federal Highway Administration in the US, the European Commission, the Italian Parliament and multiple Italian regions and municipalities. Typical projects are regional plans concerning sustainable mobility (cycling in particular), sustainable urban mobility plans, bicycle plans and economic research projects.
