Marco Mulder

Marco is an ambitious and passionate senior transport planner who challenges his clients to make cycling or active traveltheir priority. In his work he places high demands on himself and the work he delivers. He believes that when planning or designing for cycling it is important to get everything right, including the details.

Marco has significant experience on the Dutch and Irish market in a great variety of transport related projects. He has worked as a transport planner in Dublin. He also has experience in countries such as Belgium, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. In his view understanding the local context, from guidelines to attitudes, are key to getting the details right and making cycling a success. As a trained urban planner, he understands other perspectives and the need to find integrated solutions in the projects.

Marco has led projects in cycling regarding road design, data studies, route option assessments, municipal cycle policies and cycle strategies.
