Erik Klok

As a cycling enthusiast with a background in civil- and transport engineering, Erik Klok links his experience from practice with his theoretical knowledge. He, for instance, likes to inspect the area or route of his projects himself by cycling and filming the situation with a camera mounted on a helmet. With over 10 year experience in bicycle related research, policy making and feasibility studies, he’ll help you understand and facilitate cyclists better. With his broader transport knowledge and experience, he’ll also make sure cyclists are part of a safe network with all other road users and are able to make smooth transfers to other means of (public) transport for their long distance trips.

Being from the East of the Netherlands, and thanks to a lot of cross-border and holiday cycling rides, Erik has good knowledge of the German language and its infrastructure. He’s still working on his Spanish skills, so he’ll be happy to share his cycling expertise if you help him practice.
