Cycling Experts Daniela Abril Gutierrez Daniela Gutierrez is a Mexican-born urban planner and researcher serving as the Research and Development Manager at BYCS. With a background in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam, her expertise spans various domains including active mobility, feminist urbanism, urban governance, and social innovations such as community-led placemaking. Through concept development and implementing action-research, her role at BYCS concentrates on tackling barriers to cycling adoption for women and other vulnerable communities. In addition, she spearheads BYCS’ program implementation in Latin America.
