Brett Bouthillier

Brett Bouthillier grew up in the Oil & Gas province of Alberta, Canada surrounded by large pickup trucks and urban sprawl. It was when Brett moved to Munich, Germany to pursue his Masters in Renewable Energy that he fell in love with livable and walkable cities. A job in Tesla’s Energy department moved Brett to London and Amsterdam where his love for cycling increased. After purchasing his first e-bike, Brett and his friend/co-founder Jake both realized that while owning an e-bike made commuting around the city efficient, having to worry about it’s battery brought about its own problems. Almost 5 years in Amsterdam, Brett (now a Dutch citizen) is now helping to build out a Network of both Public and Private e-bike battery charging lockers to help empower e-bike riders like himself, and relieve the everyday worries of theft, fire and charging.
