Cycling Experts Erik Tetteroo Erik’s main interest lies in the interaction between city development and bicycle-inclusive mobility. He believes that cycling and active mobility are essential elements for a liveable city, and that the future of cities depends on their ability to facilitate multimodal transport. As a former architect Erik attaches great value to attractive design solutions and the quality of public space. He has strong analytical skills and an open attitude to stakeholders. Erik studied Architecture and Urban Planning (Delft) and Master City Developer (Rotterdam). He has a broad experience in working as a (project) manager for municipalities, and as the main cycling policy advisor for the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure. Erik also works as lecturer/researcher at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
