Cycling Experts Bernhard Ensink Dr. Bernhard Ensink is an experienced general expert on cycling. He has been: Secretary General of the European Cyclists‘ Federation (ECF) and the World Cycling Alliance, based in Brussels, from 2006 – 2019. CEO of the Dutch cyclists‘ association Fietsersbond, based in Utrecht, from 1998 – 2006 Alderman / 1st Deputy Mayor, in charge of city development, spatial planning, environment and communications/PR and financial affairs of the the Dutch municipality Coevorden from 1994 – 1998, and a city council member of that city for many years Bernhard has an integral view on cycling and mobility. He combines his knowledge and experience on cycling, collected during his international career e.g. responsible for the Velo-city Conferences series of ECF, with his experience in local politics. Nowadays at Mobycon he is focusing on the development of cycling and sustainable mobility in German speaking countries. Originally from Germany he lives in the Netherlands at the German border.
